Agreement
By using Squiggleworks (app, web app or marketing site) you agree to these terms and our Privacy policy. If you buy Plus, the store’s (Apple, Google or Stripe) subscription terms also apply.
Who the product is for
Squiggleworks is an education / creative tool for families. A grown-up should hold any account and supervise use. You must be old enough to form a contract in your country, or have a parent’s permission.
AI-generated content
Pages are generated by third-party AI (currently OpenAI). Outputs may be imperfect, unexpected or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing pages before giving them to a child. We do not guarantee uniqueness or fitness for a particular purpose.
Prompts, images and retention
You grant us a limited licence to process prompts, photos and related inputs solely to provide generation and improve safety and the product. We do not claim ownership of your ideas. Image files are returned to your device and not kept by us. Prompt text may be logged as described in the Privacy policy. You must not submit prompts that are illegal, sexual involving minors, hateful, or that infringe others’ rights.
Acceptable use
- No automated scraping or abuse of the free generator
- No attempts to bypass rate limits, watermarks or paywalls
- No uploading photos you do not have the right to use
Subscriptions, trials and free tiers
Free tiers and Plus limits may change. Paid plans renew until cancelled in the store or web billing portal. Refunds follow Apple, Google or Stripe rules. Removing the free-tier print watermark is a Plus benefit.
Referrals
Referral rewards (if offered) are credited when the referred user generates their first page, subject to caps and anti-abuse checks. We may withhold rewards for fraud.
Disclaimer and liability
The service is provided “as is”. To the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude liability for indirect loss. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited under UK law.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after the “Last updated” date means you accept the revised terms.
